Scope

This part of JR/T 0025-2005 mainly specifies the files, commands, security requirements and transaction processes involved in the application of electronic wallets/electronic passbooks. It also describes the relevant requirements for magnetic stripe card functions, including:
　——Electronic passbooks/electronic wallets application. It defines special data elements, file structures, instruction sets, transaction processes and security mechanisms for electronic passbooks and electronic wallets. —Magnetic stripe card function (Easy Entry). A simple application that uses financial IC cards to implement magnetic stripe card functions is defined, and the card and terminal data files, commands and application selections that support the application are described in detail. This section applies to financial IC cards issued or accepted by banks. It is mainly used by departments (units) such as card design, manufacturing, management, issuance, acceptance and application system research, development, integration and maintenance related to financial IC card applications.
