Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements for pneumatic remote control of the main propulsion device of diesel engines for inland river ships. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of pneumatic remote control systems for inland river ships, which are controlled by the cab to remotely control the diesel engine main propulsion device (including propellers driven directly or indirectly through clutches and adjustable pitch propellers).
