Scope

This part stipulates the compilation principles and classification of highway information basic data elements, highway information basic data elements and data element value range code sets. This section applies to the collection, exchange and sharing of technical attribute data, highway management statistical data and highway data involved in related information systems in establishing highway databases in the transportation industry. Other information systems or documents involving highway-related information data items that need to reference standards may also refer to this section for implementation.
