Analysis of key technical requirements

1. Explosion-proof performance requirements

The synchronous machine and probe of the logging tool must meet the following requirements

  • Intrinsically safe explosion-proof mark Ex ib I Mb or Ex ia I Ma
  • Surface temperature ≤150℃ (under fault condition)
  • Surface resistance of non-metallic shell ≤109Ω
  • Electrical clearance and creepage distance comply with GB/T 3836.4-2021

Application case:

When a coal mine uses a γ-γ combined logging instrument in a high gas area, special attention should be paid to the following:

  1. Regularly test intrinsic safety parameters (output voltage/current)
  2. Perform annual in-use inspection (Article 7.3 of the standard)
  3. Keep the battery pack in a discharged state during storage
