本标准规定了植物油库工程设计所涉及到的库址选择、总平面布置、储运工艺及设备、安全消防、 给水排水、环境保护、 电气装置、采暖通风等方面的一般原则。 　　
本标准适用于新建、扩建和改建的采用焊接钢制立式固定顶油罐的地上植物油库的设计。 　　
本标准不适用于采用非焊接钢制油罐的植物油库，亦不适用于仓房式、地下式植物油库及生产车间附属罐的设计。 　　
　　植物油库设计除应执行本标准外，还应符合国家现行有关标准的规定。

Scope

This standard specifies the general principles involved in the design of vegetable oil depots in terms of site selection, general layout, storage and transportation technology and equipment, safety and fire protection, water supply and drainage, environmental protection, electrical installations, heating and ventilation, etc. This standard applies to the design of newly built, expanded and renovated above-ground vegetable oil depots using welded steel vertical fixed-roof oil tanks. This standard does not apply to vegetable oil depots using non-welded steel oil tanks, nor does it apply to the design of warehouse-type, underground vegetable oil depots and auxiliary tanks in production workshops. In addition to complying with this standard, the design of vegetable oil depots should also comply with the relevant national standards.
