Introduction

Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution

As the first revised version of LS/T 1213-2008, this standard mainly responds to the development needs of green grain storage technology, and focuses on adjusting the following contents:

Analysis of core technical requirements

1. Air tightness standard of granary

Gas-controlled silo must meet the following requirements:

  • Empty silo: 500Pa→250Pa pressure half-life ≥300 seconds
  • Full silo: 500Pa→250Pa pressure half-life ≥240 seconds

Test method example

The positive pressure decay test method in Appendix A is adopted, with a 700-1000Pa fan and a ±10Pa precision pressure gauge, and the lowest value is taken for judgment through three repeated tests.


2. Gas concentration control system

The concentration must be maintained at 35% or above for 15 days. The weighted average concentration calculation is shown in Appendix D.


Key equipment configuration requirements

1. Gas supply system

  • Storage and transportation equipment: in accordance with GB 150.1 pressure vessel standard
  • Gas transmission pipeline: GB/T 8163 rust-free steel pipe
  • Safety valve: GB/T 12241 standard

2. Detection system

The carbon dioxide analyzer must meet the 0-100% range and ±2% error. PE sampling tubes are prohibited.


Implementation suggestions and risk control

1. Operation process optimization

  1. Perform 7-point control inspection before inflation (silo roof/grain surface/upper, middle and lower layers/space/exhaust port)
  2. Adopt two-stage pressure reduction control (1.0±0.2MPa)
  3. Circulation requirement of 5 air replacement rates per hour

2. Safety protection measures

  • Equip with 3 or more GB/T 16556 respirators
  • When CO₂ concentration is >2%, double-person supervision is required
  • Anti-freeze gloves are required for liquid CO₂ pipeline operation
