1. Determination of total saponin content

The vanillin-sulfuric acid colorimetric method was used, and the spectrophotometer was used for determination at a wavelength of 462nm. The standard curve requires R²>0.999, and the allowable error of parallel determination is ≤2%. Calculation formula:

Total saponin content = [(aX+b)×V×N]/[m₀×(1-w%)]×100%
