Introduction

Standard Background and Scope of Application

This standard was developed by the Civil Aviation Science and Technology Research Institute of China, with participation from seven industry representatives including Ewatt Technology. It is applicable to small and light civil UAVs with a maximum take-off weight of ≤25kg, and standardizes the data interaction protocol between the UAV system and the cloud platform.

Analysis of core data elements

Data type Key field Accuracy requirement Example
Registration information MSN/FCSN/REG/CPN Character matching 0012A0Dxxxxxx
Dynamic information Latitude and longitude/altitude/heading WGS84 coordinates, 7 decimal places 116.4040000,39.9150000
Command data MAYDAY/PANPAN Fixed code MAYDAYMAYDAYMAYDAY

Detailed explanation of CPN coding system

Operator code (3 digits) + UAV category (1 digit) + configuration (1 digit) + reserved digit (1 digit) constitute the core 6-digit code:

  • 4th digit: 1-7 corresponds to the operation category (such as 1=visual range operation)
  • 5th digit: AF indicates the configuration (such as A=multi-rotor)

Example: 0012A0D indicates a visual range multi-rotor UAV operated by Yunshiji

System performance classification requirements

Level Data transmission Command interaction Applicable scenarios
Level A One-way (UAV→Cloud) Not supported Basic supervision
Level B Two-way interaction Support 5 types of commands Airspace collaboration

Implementation recommendations

  1. Development verification: It is necessary to simulate the network interruption and resumption scenario to ensure that the trajectory preservation requirements of AC-91-FS-2015-31 are met
  2. Encryption scheme: AES-256 algorithm is recommended, key length ≥ 128 bits
  3. Test focus: Class B systems must verify that command response delay is ≤ 3 seconds
