Introduction
Standard Overview
This standard is equivalent to the ISO 20906 international standard, which specifies the technical requirements for the unmanned monitoring system for airport aircraft noise, including the core contents such as noise monitoring terminal site selection, data collection, event classification and measurement uncertainty assessment.
Key Technical Requirements
| Technical Dimensions | MH/T 5109 Requirements | Comparison with International Standards |
|---|---|---|
| Measurement Range | 30-120 dB(A) | Consistent with ISO 20906 |
| Microphone Height | 6-10 meters | Higher than ISO Basic Requirements |
| Event Detection Accuracy | ≥50% Correct Classification Rate | New Quantitative Indicators |
System composition and functions
Typical system architecture: It consists of a noise monitoring terminal, a central workstation and data processing software, and must meet the following requirements:
- Record AS-weighted sound pressure level every 10 seconds (sampling rate ≥8Hz)
- Automatically identify aircraft noise events (LE,A accuracy 0.1dB)
- Synchronous collection of meteorological parameters (wind speed, temperature and humidity)
Implementation points
Site selection specifications: According to the requirements of Appendix A, the monitoring point should meet the following requirements:
- Maximum aircraft sound pressure level>background noise 15dB
- Elevation angle ≥30° to reduce ground reflection
- Distance to reflecting surface>10 meters
Calibration requirements: The sound calibrator must comply with IEC 60942 Class 1 standard and be calibrated at least once a year.
Technology evolution
When this standard was released in 2013, it innovatively introduced:
- Quantitative indicators for event classification (50% accuracy)
- Comprehensive uncertainty assessment method (expanded uncertainty ≤ 3dB)
- Multi-dimensional meteorological compensation mechanism
