Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, use and maintenance of belt conveyors for coal mines (hereinafter referred to as conveyors). This standard is mainly applicable to belt conveyors used in underground coal mines, and also applies to belt conveyors used in open-pit coal mines, coal preparation and other workplaces with explosive risks.
