1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of emulsified (HFAE) and solution-type (HFAS) high-water content hydraulic fluids and emulsifying oils or concentrate fluids for preparing the hydraulic fluids.

This standard is applicable to high-water content hydraulic fluids for powered supports, external injection single hydraulic props, etc., and the emulsifying oil and concentrate fluid used to prepare the hydraulic fluid.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

3.1
emulsifying oil

“oil” that may be uniformly dispersed in water to form an oil-in-water emulsion, which is generally composed of mineral oil and water, emulsifier, antirust agent, lubricant and other additives

3.2
concentrate fluid

liquid substance that can be dissolved in water to form a solution diluent, which is generally composed of water, water-soluble antirust agent, anticorrosion agent, lubricant and other additives

3.3
high-water content hydraulic fluid

oil-in-water emulsion prepared by emulsifying oil and 90% (mass ratio) or more water or solution-type diluent prepared by concentrated solution and 90% (mass ratio) or more water

4 Product categorization

4.1 Product categories

According to the types of high-water content hydraulic fluids they can be used for, products are divided into two categories: emulsifying oil and concentrate fluid.

Each category is divided into 8 grades according to the highest hardness of the applicable water quality, and its grade codes are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40.
