本村准规定了煤矿用橡套电缆橡皮护套硫化热补带(以下简称热补带)的代号、型号规格、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于氯丁橡胶或氯磺化聚乙烯为主要原料与橡胶助剂配合而制成的硫化的橡胶带。


Introduction

Standard Background and Industry Significance

MT 848.2-2000 is the first industry standard for rubber sheath repair materials for underground coal mine rubber sheathed cables in my country, filling the gap of no unified standard for hot-melt patch tape products. The standard was formulated by the Fushun Branch of the China Coal Research Institute and was compiled based on the requirements of the former Ministry of Coal Industry's Coal Science and Technology Supervision Letter (1994) No. 401, aiming to standardize the quality requirements of hundreds of production enterprises across the country.

Typical application case

A coal mine used MXRHQ-50 hot patch tape to repair the sheath damage of the shearing cable of the coal mining machine. After vulcanization treatment, it passed:
1) 30kN extrusion test
2) 18000 bending test
3) Load combustion test (in line with MT386 requirements)


Key points of the test method

Key test parameters:

  • Aging test: MXRHG needs to be aged for 40 hours with 127℃/550kPa air bomb aging
  • Hot elongation test: elongation ≤175% at 200℃×15min
  • Surface resistance: reinforced type needs to be ≥104Ω (after 24h water immersion treatment)

Implementation suggestions

1. Selection guide: 6kV high-voltage cables should preferably use MXRHG series, and mobile equipment cables are recommended to use MXRHQ reinforced type
2. Vulcanization process: control the mold temperature at 155-160℃, pressure at 1.3-1.5MPa, and time for 15-20 minutes
3. Quality monitoring: Each batch of products must be tested for thickness deviation (≤±0.2mm) and the number of impurities (≤2 pieces/100cm²)
