Introduction

Core detection principle

A high temperature cracking tube (950-1300℃) is used to convert the sample oxygen element into CO/CO₂, and the oxygen mass fraction is inferred by detecting the gas content. Critical control points:

  • Carrier gas purity ≥99.995%
  • Precise control of sample volume (1-10μL/mg)
  • Tin boat packaging to prevent air interference

Comparison of method differences

Gasoline detection case: Use methyl tert-butyl ether standard for calibration, which requires matching quartz reaction tube and infrared detector, and the relative deviation must be ≤2%

Special treatment for diesel detection: Methyl oleate calibration is required, and the precision is not specified


Implementation points

  1. Soluble water must be removed during sample pretreatment (see Appendix A)
  2. Recalibration is required every 10 samples
  3. Quality control sample recovery rate ≥ 85%
  4. Result report is accurate to 0.01%
