Scope

NB/T 20003 stipulates the non-destructive testing methods, quality classification of test results and recommended acceptance standards for nuclear is and mechanical equipment in nuclear power plants. This part of NB/T 20003 specifies the technical requirements and acceptance standards for eddy current testing of pipe products for nuclear is and mechanical equipment in nuclear power plants. This section applies to eddy current testing during the manufacturing and installation process of pipe products for nuclear is and machinery and equipment in nuclear power plants. Applicable pipe sizes are nominal outer diameter less than 65 mm, nominal thickness greater than or equal to 0.75 mm and less than 3 mm.
