Scope
This standard specifies the principles and procedures for performance testing of cable penetration firestops installed on specified fire barriers. This standard applies to the quality qualification of sealing elements of different materials and structures installed on prescribed fire barriers. Sealing parts that meet the requirements of this standard are suitable for nuclear power plants and other nuclear facilities.
