Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of laboratory test tubes and culture tubes. This standard is applicable to experimental test tubes used in various laboratories for biological tests, blood tests, microbial culture, and observation of reduction and decomposition reactions in chemical reactions, and culture tubes used to cultivate bacteria.
