本标准适用于不更换高压钠灯来改变灯功率用预置功率电感式镇流器，这些镇流器使用50Hz、1000V以下交流电源。上述这类镇流器在额定输出功率时应首先满足GB/T 15042-2005的要求。本标准应与GB 19510.10-2004和GB/T 15042-2005一起使用，本标准镇流器适用的高压钠灯应符合GB/T 13259的要求。
Scope
This standard applies to preset power inductive ballasts used to change the lamp power without replacing high-pressure sodium lamps. These ballasts use AC power supplies below 50Hz and 1000V. The above-mentioned ballasts should first meet the requirements of GB/T 15042-2005 when rated output power. This standard should be used together with GB 19510.10-2004 and GB/T 15042-2005. High-pressure sodium lamps suitable for ballasts in this standard should comply with the requirements of GB/T 13259.
