1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage for the bathroom mat and door mat (hereinafter referred to as "mat").
This standard is applicable to the quality judgement of the small pieces of mats that are manufactured from the mat surface raw material composed of chemical fiber, cotton, wool and mixed fiber and are used in bathrooms or in front of doors. The mat manufactured from other fiber materials may also be made reference to this standard.
