本标准规定了除煤矿瓦斯气体之外的其他爆炸性气体环境用增安型灯具的结构和试验的特殊要求。
本标准适用于电源电压不超过1000V、采取一些附加措施保证在正常运行或规定的异常条件下不产生危险温度、电弧和火花的灯具。
本标准的灯具使用的光源应是下列类型之一：
具有符合GB/T 1406.1-2008的单插脚无启动器荧光灯（Fa6）；
具有符合GB 18774-2002的G5或G13的管式双插脚荧光灯，插脚由黄铜制造。灯头和灯座符合GB 3836.3-2010中5.3.3的规定，这样的灯应接成启动和运行无阴极预热的电路；
符合GB/T 10681-2009和GB 14196.1-2008的通用照明钨丝白炽灯。
其他光源可考虑按GB 3836.3-2010中5.10的规定使用。
本标准应与GB 3836 爆炸性环境标准系列、GB 7000灯具标准系列一起使用。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and test methods, inspection rules, markings and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of increased safety lamps (hereinafter referred to as lamps) for use in explosive gas environments other than coal mine gas. This standard applies to increased safety lamps for explosive environments with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1 000 V (hereinafter referred to as "lamps"). The light source used in the lamps of this standard should be one of the following types: a) A starter-less fluorescent lamp (Fa6) with a single pin that complies with GB/T 1406.1-2008; b) A G5 or G13 that complies with GB 18774-2002 Tubular double-pin fluorescent lamp with pins made of brass. The lamp holder and lamp holder comply with the provis ons of 5.3.3 in GB 3836.3-2010. Such lamps should be connected to a circuit that starts and operates without cathode preheating; c) General lighting tungsten in compliance with GB/T 10681-2009 and GB 14196.1-2008 filament incandescent lamp.
