Clutch

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of clutch.

This standard is applicable to various clutches for daily life and it may be used as reference for waist bag.

3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

clutch

a bag product with small volume (no more than 3L), mostly held by hand, which may be equipped with assistant carrying strap (detachable or non-detachable) or shoulder strap (detachable)

4 Classification

4.1 Classification by surface materials:

——leather clutch;

——reclaimed leather clutch;

——artificial leather/synthetic leather clutch;

——fur clutch;

——fabric clutch;

——clutch of various fabrics;

——clutch of other materials.

4.2 Classification by using object:

——men's clutch

——women's clutch

5 Requirements

5.1 Materials and fittings

They shall be selected in accordance with relevant product standard.

5.1.1 Limit of harmful substances

Limit of harmful substances in leather, reclaimed leather and fur materials shall meet the requirements of Table 1, GB 20400; the limit of harmful substances in polyvinyl chloride artificial leather shall meet the requirements of GB 21550; the limit of harmful substances in textile material shall meet the requirements of Table 1; and the limit of harmful substances in adhesive for clutch shall meet the requirements of Table 2.
