Introduction

Background of Standard Technology Evolution

As the first industry standard specifically for canned prepared dishes, QB/T 8075-2024 fills the gap in the standard system for composite canned foods. Compared with the traditional single-ingredient canned food standard, this standard innovatively establishes a nine-class classification system, and specifically quantifies the solid content ratio requirements for mixed canned foods to ≥50% for superior products and ≥30% for qualified products.

Analysis of core technical requirements

Indicator typeTraditional canned food standardRequirements of this document
Raw material controlSingle raw material standardMulti-raw material composite standard
Solid content detectionTotal solid contentSpecific ingredient ratio formula: X=(m₁+m₂)/(m₄-m₃+m₂)×100%
Label identificationMust be marked with "canned food"The word "canned food" can be omitted

Key points of the test method

Organic test specification: The sample is required to be heated in a water bath at 50±5℃ for 10-20 minutes, and then tested in accordance with the GB/T10786 method. A typical case shows that it is easier to detect possible fat oxidation odor in canned pork with preserved vegetables after heating.

Difficulties in mixed testing: For composite canned foods containing livestock and poultry meat + aquatic products, m₁ (meat mass), m₂ (oil mass), and m₄ (drained material + round sieve mass) must be weighed separately to ensure that the calculation result is accurate to 0.1g.

Suggestions for the implementation of the standard

  1. Manufacturers:Establish SOPs for calculating the proportion of raw materials, and pay special attention to the formulation design of mixed products
  2. Testing agencies:Upgrade the accuracy of testing equipment, and it is recommended to use a 0.01g electronic balance for solid separation and weighing
  3. Regulatory authorities:Focus on verifying the authenticity of the "main raw material proportion" statement on the label

Solutions to common problems

Q:Does adding 30% potatoes to braised beef can meet the requirements?
A:According to Article 5.3.8, if the beef proportion is ≥50% (superior product) or ≥30% (qualified product), and potatoes are declared as auxiliary ingredients, it meets the standard.
