1 Subject content and application scope
This standard specifies the test method for the contact stain of vulcanized rubber or plastic samples on white test plates after exposure in a climate tester for a certain period of time.
This standard is applicable to the contact stain test of rubber and plastic sealing strips for vehicle doors and windows.
2 Method principle
Observe the degree of contact stain on the surface of a white test plate when a rubber or plastic specimen contacts the surface of the test plate.
3 Instruments and apparatus
3.1 Thermostat: 80±2℃.
3.2 Climate tester.
3.3 White test plate: Grade I white ceramic tile: 150mm×150mm.
3.4 Load weight: 4.41N (0.45kg).
