1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for passenger car air filter (hereinafter referred to as air filter) and filter element; for filter element, which is the core component of air filter, its technical requirements is applicable to air filter.

This standard is applicable to passenger car air filter and filter element with volume flow below 900m3/h. It also serves as reference for other air filters and filter elements.
