本标准规定了新一代天气雷达的选址原则、选址前期准备、候选站址的实地勘察、首选站址的确定以及选址工作报告的报批等。
本标准适用于我国统一布点的新一代天气雷达选址工作，地方和行业的新一代天气雷达的选址工作可参照执行。

Scope

This standard stipulates the principles for site selection of new generation weather radars, preliminary site selection preparations, on-site surveys of candidate sites, determination of preferred site sites, and submis ion of site selection work reports for approval. This standard is applicable to the site selection work of the new generation of weather radars that are uniformly dis ributed in my country. The site selection work of the new generation of weather radars at local and industrial levels can be implemented as a reference.
