1 Subject Content and Application Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, packing, marking, transportation and storage, and sampling of aluminium base grease.
This standard is applicable to high water-resistant aluminium base grease which is obtained by thickening mineral lubricating oil with fatty acid aluminum soap.
The products meeting this standard are applicable to the lubrication of the rubbing parts of shipped machinery and to the corrosion prevention of metal surfaces.
