Key technical points

Instrument configuration requirements

It is necessary to configure hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID), the purity of carrier gas nitrogen is ≥99.99%, and the temperature is programmed (80℃→200℃@10℃/min). The quantitative tube of the liquid injection valve is 1μL, and the quantitative loop of the gas injection valve is 0.5mL.

Typical application cases

A petrochemical enterprise uses this standard to detect the methanol content in 1-butene:

  • Standard sample concentration: 0.0012% (mass fraction)
  • Measured peak area: 18563±523 (n=5)
  • RSD=2.8%
Meets the requirement of repeatability limit ≤10%.


Analysis of implementation difficulties

Vaporization device selection: The new version deletes the small amount of liquid sample vaporization device, and requires the use of flash evaporator, which needs to ensure:

  1. Vaporization temperature ≥150℃
  2. System inertization treatment (to prevent methanol adsorption)
  3. Pipeline insulation measures
It is recommended to use a nickel-based alloy vaporization chamber.

Background of standard evolution
