本标准代替SH/T1541-1993《热塑性塑料颗粒外观试验方法》。本标准与SH/T1541-1993相比主要变化如下：1.范围内将本标准中适用于高密度聚乙烯、低密度聚乙烯和线形低密度聚乙烯合并，统称为聚乙烯（PE）（第一章）。2.范围中增加苯乙烯-丙烯腈(SAN）树脂以及改性塑料（第一章）。3.规范性引用文件中由不注日期改为注日子引用文件（第二章）。4.增加属于和定义一章（第三章）。5.指明小粒中包括碎屑和碎粒（3.4）。5.增加了蛇皮粒、拖尾粒、絮状物和带泡粒子的定义（3.5、3.6、3.7和3.8）。6.试验用套筛装配好后，增加“在水平方向”充分摇动（7.2）。7.增加“结果表示”一章（第八章）

Scope

This standard specifies test methods for the appearance of thermoplastic particles. This standard applies to thermoplastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), impact-resistant polystyrene (PS-I), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), Natural granular resins such as styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN). This standard also applies to modified plastics. This standard does not apply to powders in thermoplastics.
