1 Scope
This specification specifies the requirements for the automatic control engineering design of control room, central control room, local control room, field auxiliary room.
This specification is applicable to the automatic control design for the control room, central control room, local control room and field auxiliary room of the newly-constructed, renovated and extended petrochemical projects. It is also applicable to automatic control design of control room in the enterprise which prepares fuel and chemical product with coal as raw material.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this specification, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Control room
The building located in petrochemical plant or combination device and possessing of functions like production operation, process control, safety protection and instrument maintenance.
3.2
Central control room
The integrated building located in petrochemical plants and possessing of functions like production operation, process control, safety protection, advanced control and optimization, instrument maintenance, simulation training, production management and information management.
