Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for types, dimensions, tolerances, technical conditions, inspection and testing of non-metallic flat gaskets for petrochemical steel pipe flanges. This standard applies to the manufacture and acceptance of non-metallic flat gaskets for steel pipe flanges with nominal pressures PN11 (Class75) ~ PN110 (Class600) specified in SH/T 3406 "Petrochemical Steel Pipe Flanges".
