Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the selection, inspection and acceptance of metal hoses for pipeline engineering. This standard is applicable to the selection, inspection and acceptance of metal hoses used in petrochemical and coal chemical pipeline projects to compensate for pipeline displacement and foundation settlement, resist earthquakes and absorb vibrations. This standard does not apply to metal hoses for instrumentation.
