Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and quality standards for the factory-based fabrication, installation, and construction of steel structures such as towers, pipe galleries, and frames in projects producing oil and chemical products using petroleum, natural gas, and coal as raw materials. This standard applies to the construction and acceptance of steel structures such as towers, pipe galleries, and frames made of carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel in new construction, expansion, and renovation projects of projects producing oil and chemical products using petroleum, natural gas, and coal as raw materials.
