Scope

This specification stipulates the general technical requirements, testing and test methods, quality assurance regulations and delivery preparations for microwave signal generators. This specification applies to all kinds of general-purpose microwave signal generators. It is the main technical basis for the development, production and acceptance of such products. It is also the principle that should be followed in formulating relevant product specifications and other technical documents. The microwave signal generator to which this specification applies generates a sinusoidal signal with a frequency range covering part or all of 300MHz to 30GHz (the frequency is allowed to extend outside this range) and has more than one modulation or combined modulation (these modulations are amplitude modulation, frequency modulation , phase modulation, pulse modulation) signal generator, it is also suitable for unmodulated signal generators in this frequency range.
