Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of double-coated quartz glass optical fiber ultraviolet (UV) cured optical fiber coatings for communication. This standard does not apply to single coatings, colored coatings and special optical fiber coatings.
