Scope
This standard applies to the economic evaluation in documents and reports such as feasibility studies and preliminary designs for new construction, reconstruction, and expansion projects of hydropower stations with an installed capacity of 50MW and below and their supporting power grids. Hydropower stations with an installed capacity of 10MW and below can be economically evaluated using appropriate simplified methods.
