Scope

This standard specifies the principles, equipment, procedures, certificates, data storage, and acceptance of the calibration tank for rotor flow meter calibration. This standard does not take into account the differences between the mobile calibration of the flow meter in a linear still water tank and the fixed measurement in turbulent water bodies, as well as the errors caused by the influence of media such as water temperature and sand content. This standard is applicable to the calibration of rotor flow meters. The calibration of other types of flow meters can also be adopted as a reference.
