Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Technical elements | Calculation method | Applicable scenarios |
|---|---|---|
| Ecological base flow | Qp method/Tennant method/Frequency curve method | Maintaining the basic form and self-purification capacity of rivers and lakes |
| Flow in sensitive period | Ecohydraulics method/Habitat analysis method | Special ecological needs such as fish breeding period |
| Lake water level | Morphological analysis method/Water balance method | Inland lakes and tailwater lakes |
Key technical points
Ecological flow calculation system
The standard establishes a graded and classified calculation framework:
- Ecological base flow adopts the driest month flow with a guaranteed rate of 90%-95%
- Sensitive period flow needs to be combined with the biological characteristics of indicator species
- Rivers with high sediment content need to calculate the sediment transport volume during the flood season separately
Implementation suggestions
Design principles for discharge facilities
- Give priority to the use of existing discharge buildings
- Discharge according to the inflow flow at dead water level
- Set up a remote monitoring system
Technical requirements for monitoring
The monitoring section should be set at: the outlet of the discharge facility, the confluence of the tailwater and the discharge, and the frequency of data collection should not be less than once a day.
Standard evolution analysis
Compared with SL/T 712-2015, this standard adds:
- Overall calculation method of ecological flow (BBM method)
- Evaluation system for unique natural landscapes involving water
- Requirements for coordinated dispatch of cascade power stations
