Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the naphthenic content in saturated hydrocarbon fractions using the specific refractive index method. This standard applies to saturated hydrocarbon fractions in gasoline or naphtha whose distillation end point does not exceed 221°C and which has been depentanized.
