Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of silicon (Si) iron, (Fe), and phosphorus (P) in metallic manganese by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of silicon, iron and phosphorus content in metallic manganese. The measurement range is: Si: 0.05% ~ 2.50%: Fe: 0.10% ~ 5.00%; P: 0.005% ~ 0.075%.
