Scope
This part specifies the sampling, inspection and result determination of imported and exported residual current-operated circuit breakers for household and similar purposes. This section is applicable to the inspection of residual current-operated circuit breakers for household or similar purposes with AC 50 Hz (or 60 Hz), voltage not exceeding 440 V, and rated current not exceeding 125A. This section does not apply to the inspection of the following products:
——RCCB using batteries;
——RCBO used for motor protection;
——PCBO whose setting current value can be adjusted by the user during use.
