Scope

This part specifies the requirements, inspection and judgment for import and export storage-type electric water heaters. This section applies to the import and export inspection of household and similar storage-type electric water heaters (hereinafter referred to as water heaters) that heat water below the boiling point. Its rated voltage does not exceed 250V for single phase and 480V for others.
