Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of soluble lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury content in paint by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (hereinafter referred to as ICP-AES). This standard is applicable to the determination of soluble lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury in paints. The determination range is shown in Table 1.
