Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatographic detection method for vinylidene chloride monomer in food contact materials such as polyvinylidene chloride polymer materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of vinylidene chloride monomer in food contact materials of polyvinylidene chloride resin and its products. The lower limit of determination of vinylidene chloride in this standard is 3mg/kg.
