Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of creosote (see Table 1) in food contact materials paper and regenerated fiber materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of creosote in food contact materials paper and recycled fiber materials. The lower limit of determination of this method is 0.5mg/kg.
