Scope

This standard specifies the general safety inspection technical requirements for export travel converters. This standard applies to travel converters for indoor, household or similar purposes, only for alternating current, single-phase, rated voltage above 50 V but not greater than 250 V, and rated current not greater than 6 A. Travel converter with indicator light. This standard does not apply to travel converters with switches or with voltage and current conversion. The fuses covered by this standard are not intended to be used for overload protection of appliances or parts of appliances.
