Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Technical elements Requirements of this standard Comparison of conventional methods
Sample pretreatment Hydrofluoric acid-perchloric acid digestion system Conventional acid dissolution method
Detection limit range 0.1-12,500 mg/kg Usually 50-5,000 mg/kg
Precision control 8 laboratory validation data General 3 laboratory data

Key Technical Points

1. Sample Pretreatment Specifications

Use Platinum crucible for digestion treatment, please note:

  • The amount of hydrofluoric acid should be strictly controlled within 10mL
  • The silicon element should be completely driven out during the fuming stage of perchloric acid
  • A plastic volumetric flask should be used for final volume determination

2. Instrument Parameter Optimization

Key parameters of ICP-AES recommended by the standard:

  • RF power: 1,000W
  • Observation height: 15mm
  • Integration time: 3 seconds

Implementation Suggestions

Key Quality Control Points

  1. Each batch of samples must have a process blank
  2. Correlation coefficient of the calibration curve ≥ 0.999
  3. Use the element analysis wavelength recommended in the standard appendix

Extended application of the method

This method can be applied to the following after appropriate adjustments:

  • Detection of impurities in silicone rubber products
  • Quality control of silicon dioxide for cosmetics
  • Purity analysis of silicon in food additives
