Analysis of the core framework of the standard

This regulation establishes a complete technical system for the identification of imported steel waste, and achieves accurate identification through a three-level inspection mechanism (on-site initial screening - laboratory testing - comprehensive judgment). The standard innovatively combines the general requirements of GB34330 with the characteristics of the steel industry to form a highly operational implementation specification.

Key points for technical implementation

1. On-site rapid screening

When using a portable spectrometer for elemental analysis, please note:

  • The relative error of 8 elements such as Si and Mn must be ≤25%
  • The thickness of the oxide film should be controlled within 10μm
  • Each sample should be tested at least 3 times to take the average value

2. Laboratory testing specifications

The laboratory needs to focus on the following analysis:

  1. Microstructure (metallographic analysis)
  2. Surface contaminant composition (XRF detection)
  3. Processing performance test (ductility/hardness)
