Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard systematically standardizes the application system of microscopic laser Raman spectroscopy technology in the identification of gemstones, mainly including:

  • Technical principle: Non-destructive detection based on molecular vibration spectrum
  • Instrument requirements: Laser wavelength (244-1064nm), resolution, calibration specifications
  • Test process: Sample preparation → Instrument calibration → Parameter setting → Data acquisition → Result analysis
  • Typical spectrum library: Appendix A contains benchmark Raman spectra of 200+ kinds of gemstones

Comparison of key technical parameters

Test items Recommended parameters Allowed range
Laser power 1-5mW 0.1-50mW
Spectral range 50-4000cm-1 Ultraviolet region≥200cm-1
Resolution ≤4cm-1 ≤8cm-1

Typical application case

Diamond identification characteristics

The standard clearly states that diamond has a characteristic peak at 1331cm-1 (Figure A.1), which is significantly different from cubic zirconia (618cm-1).

Analysis of Jade Components

The combination of characteristic peaks of jadeite (Figure A.158) and sodium chrome pyroxene (Figure A.162) can accurately distinguish A/B/C goods.

Implementation Suggestions

  1. Establish a laboratory environment control system (temperature 20-26℃, humidity ≤65%)
  2. Regularly use single crystal silicon wafers to calibrate instruments (520.7cm-1 benchmark)
  3. Use low-power testing (≤1mW) for organic gemstones (amber, pearl, etc.)
  4. Combined with GB/T 16553 and other standards for comprehensive judgment
