1 General Provisions

1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to ensuring the construction quality of gathering and transmission distributing station project in highly hydrogen sulfide gas field and of purification plant project and enabling the installation project achieving advanced technology, economy and rationality, safety and usability and reliable quality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction of newly-built, expanded and renovated gathering and transmission distributing station project in oil and gas field with H2S volume fraction greater than or equal to 5% in natural gas and of purification plant process installation project in contact with highly hydrogen sulfide gas medium.
1.0.3 This code is one of highly hydrogen sulfide gas field ground project series codes, emphasizes the acceptance, inspection, keeping, marking and release of equipment and pipeline system of highly hydrogen sulfide natural gas, improves the assembly, welding, inspection and heat treatment requirements of pipeline components, strengthens the purging pressure test and final test requirements of equipment and pipeline system, is a supplement of technical requirements for the development of gas field containing H2S, and does not replace other technical codes with respect to the construction and acceptance of gathering and transmission distributing station and natural gas purification plant.
1.0.4 The construction of highly hydrogen sulfide gas field shall not only comply with this code, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
