Scope

This specification is applicable to the acceptance of the construction quality of steel spherical storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as spherical tanks) and vertical cylindrical steel welded storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as vertical storage tanks) assembled and welded on site in oil fields, gas fields, long-distance pipeline stations, oil and gas depots, refineries, etc. "Storage tanks" in this specification refer to spherical tanks and vertical storage tanks unless otherwise specified. It is specifically applicable to the acceptance of the construction quality of the following projects: 1 Installation projects of carbon steel and alloy steel spherical tanks supported by pillars with a design pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa and not greater than 4MPa and a nominal volume greater than or equal to 50m. 2 Normal pressure (including micro-internal pressure) vertical storage tank projects for storing petroleum, petrochemical products and other similar liquids. 3 Construction quality acceptance of tank coating, insulation, ladder platforms, railings and other projects. This specification is not applicable to the acceptance of the construction quality of the following types of projects: 1 Spherical tanks affected by nuclear radiation. 2 Non-fixed spherical tanks. 3 Double-layer spherical tanks. 4 Expanded spherical tanks. 5 Buried vertical storage tanks. 6Vertical storage tanks for storing extremely and highly hazardous media. 7Vertical storage tanks for artificial refrigeration liquids.
