本推荐作法提出关于消防系统的设计、检验与维护以及使事故失火的可能性减至最小的推荐意见。它强调需要对人员进行消防训练,进行定期演习,并制定安全逃生方法。
Scope
This recommended practice provides recommendations for the design, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection systems to minimize the possibility of accidental fires. It emphasizes the need to train personnel in firefighting, conduct regular drills, and develop safe escape methods. The fire protection systems discussed in this recommended practice are intended to provide an early response to a fire to prevent its spread. However, this discussion is not intended to preclude the use of a wider range of practices to adapt to particular circumstances or even to replace them with other equivalent or higher level protection systems. This recommended practice applies to fixed open offshore production platforms installed in moderate climate conditions with sufficient natural ventilation to minimize vapor phase accumulation. Enclosed areas, such as living areas and enclosed equipment areas that are usually installed on such platforms, are also discussed. Platforms installed under extreme conditions or that are otherwise fully enclosed are outside the scope of this recommended practice.
